AUTOBOT WARRIOR
CAMARO
(1985: Generation 1: South America)

from the collection of Mathew

Camaro came with no accessories.

This figure was only available in South America as part of Estrela's Mini-Cars lineup. They were the backbone of the toyline. For unknown reasons, the only Transformers that Estrela chose to produce were the Minis, in spite of the extreme popularity of the Transformers cartoon in South America. "To this day, Brazilian collectors and fans sign online and to their astonishment find every Transformer was made into a toy!" (Alex Bickmore).

Each Mini-Car was produced in at least four different colors. Estrela also invented two new factions and symbols that were part of the Decepticons and Autobots. The Autobot Mini-Cars were part of the Optimus Faction and the Decepticon Mini-Cars were part of the Malingus faction.
