DECEPTICON MATERIALS FABRICATION
MIXMASTER

(1992: Generation 2: Constructicon)

from the collection of Shawn Keaton

Mixmaster came with:
1 purple gun
1 black pistol
1 chrome missle

Generation 2 Mixmaster forms the left leg of Devastator.
He is one of the six Constructicons.

In 1992, the Constructicons were released in Europe as part of the G1 line. They were yellow, with the G1 shade of purple instead of the lighter G2 shade. Some parts, like Scrapper's canopy, were gray. No combiner accessories were included, Scavenger lacked the post used to connect him to Hook, and Hook lacked the Bonecrusher connection peg. Like the European Rescue Force, they were released without names or techs, and could only connect into gestalt mode on a very limited basis.

Generation 2 Constructicons had slightly different accessory molds and colors than the first Generation. The missles and fists had smooth, rounded endings and the parts were not spring loaded. In addition, the parts were slightly different colors. G2 Constructicons were also released in orange.

Be careful of the many bootlegs that have shiny, low quality plastic parts and "white-backed" stickers.

NOTE: Most G2 accessories have slight variations when compared to the G1 counterparts. Check out Fred's Workshop for more info on the fine variations.
